- To promote youths in entertainment zone especially students from different schools, since schools have been discouraging student’s talents.
- To build self reliance to youths through their talents
- Students entertainment exposure to the society
- To build respect to entertainment so as parents and other elders to start encouraging youth’s talents
ETHOS GROUP ENTERTAINMENT ZONE
ETHOS is a youth ZONE that bases and focuses on the youth of Tanzania. ETHOS is a word of Greek origin meaning the spirit of entertainment, thus the origin of our slogan. ETHOS dreams of creating a self-reliant, talented, hardworking, cooperative, vigilant and developed future generation by educating, motivating and empowering youths to develop their talents through intra- and inter-schools competitions, school tours and other interactive events such as bashes and bonanzas whenever possible.
ETHOS is focused on education through entertainment, edutainment, because we realized that entertainment has a great impact to minds of youths of Tanzania, thus making it easier for ETHOS to reach them and help them out. Even though ETHOS bases on entertainment, it also holds in mind the maintenance of an acceptable code of conduct of its members, making sure they don’t fall into the now decaying generation so that they become morally upright.
STRUCTURE OF ETHOS;ETHOS is currently under twelve personnel as shown in the below hierarchy;

- VICTOR DEO who is our current MUSIC PRODUCER.
- But we also have our agents in various schools that help govern the organization activities and act as our correspondents when needed.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be the one responsible in attending to the needs and requests at the schools in which the organization is running but may be assisted by any other leader available. For the first two club sessions the PRO is obliged to attend the club sessions so as to help initiate the organization activities there after the organization will run independently.
The clubs will have the following leaders which are to be elected by the members;
v The organization supervisor
v The assistant supervisor
v The secretary general
v The treasurer
v And two correspondents from each club
In each department, the corresponding activities will be conducted with discipline during club sessions and at the end of every month the best participant will be awarded various gifts which will aid him/her develop his/her talents.
After some period of time, intra-schools and inter-schools competitions will be held in order to get the most talented school and student in various categories and these winners will be well awarded. These winners are then promoted/given a chance to go further with his/her talent, would she/he wish to.
BENEFITS OF ETHOS:
According to the category a member is based on, he/she will benefit in the following ways;
- Ø IN MUSIC;
In this category we will provide record deals to singer winners from the final competition which will be held on September every year. These record deals will enable them to record songs and they will be played in the media.
For the dancers, we will give them opportunities to join big dance crews such as T.H.T or create their own dance crews and be able to perform in big event such as the annual fiestas.
- Ø IN FASHION AND DESIGN;
In this category we intend to bring out models that will have the chance to walk the runway of large fashion shows. The same applies to the designers, they will get to show off their designs together with famous designers in fashion shows and finally establish their own clothing line.
- Ø IN ARTS AND CRAFT;
For the artists (drawers, painters, craftsmen), ETHOS will first develop their talents and give them a chance to participate in various art galleries and competition so that they can be able to do something profitable with their talents.
As said before, ETHOS aims to create a developed youth generation, which is self-reliant, creative and hardworking. And by quoting the famous philosopher Makaveli, “the end justifies the means”, entertainment is a bridge ETHOS chose to reach a common goal. It is in our anticipation that we will cooperate towards achieving our goal.
